As much as I love the summer months, fall has become one of my favorite times of the year. There’s nothing like pulling out my boots and sweatshirts, visiting local pumpkin patches, and enjoy the cooler temperatures with my kids at all of the fun events around Hamilton County in Indiana. One of our personal faves is Stony Creek. There are fun activities for kids of all ages, as simple as jumping in bales of hay and as extravagant to a zip line. We like to go on a hayride and pick out our pumpkins too. I also love ANYTHING at Conner Prairie. The treats in the Apple Store are WONDERFUL (I made sure I was there when it opened on September 1st) and the haunted hayride is really fun, although the Headless Horseman can be a little scary for the younger kids.

Hope you have a great season with your family at these fall events around central Indiana and enjoy all things APPLE and PUMPKIN!
