I scream, you scream we all scream for… snowmen!  This time of the year is the perfect time to make a holiday treat like Christmas cookies such as four-ingredient Rudolph cookies that use pretzels for antlers.  Alongside the good cookie recipes, I have a fun snowman sundae I am going to share.  Best part?  It’s simple and your kids will love it:

A Great Holiday Treat

You just need vanilla ice cream, mini chocolate chips, regular chocolate chips, Twizzlers or licorice, a  marshmallow (regular or mini-size, depending on how large you want Frosty’s head), a cherry and a carrot.

To make this festive treat, use an ice cream scoop to scoop vanilla ice cream into a rounded ball and put it in the bottom of an ice cream dish.  Add a second scoop and top with the marshmallow.  You now have your snowman’s body.  Next add three chocolate chips to make buttons down the front of the snowman.  Then cut a piece of red licorice in two and use it for arms. To complete the face, use two mini chocolate chips for eyes, a few for a mount and tiny carrot shavings for the nose.  Top with a cherry.  If needed, return to the freezer for a few minutes until ready to serve.

There are so many ways you can make this ice cream snowman – and no matter which variation you choose, your kids will love it!  Tastes great served alongside some homemade hot chocolate.  Hope you enjoy!
